Build speed and focus on endurance and club championship eventsTuesday night sessions are taken by experienced runner and qualified Endurance Coach, Michelle Maxwell, with the support of other qualified Leaders and Coaches.
Often taking the form of track, fartlek or hills, these sessions are aimed at building speed and endurance for specific training goals.
Many members often choose to focus on endurance-based events such as cross-country, half marathons and marathons over the winter months and faster 5k and 10k races over the summer months.
The sessions are friendly and varied. Many club members have shown significant improvements by attending these sessions.
Tuesday night sessions meet at the Sports Club at 6:30pm Sessions are based on the grass track and school fields in the summer and the industrial estate roads and town hills in the winter months.
