Welcome to the Chippenham Harriers Club Championships web page.
This is an annual competition for paid club members to challenge for the honour of being the club champion. The Championship is held over the period of the calendar year with a mix of Road and Off-Road races. Currently these are chosen from the Wiltshire Athletics Road Race League and Wiltshire Athletics Off Road Race League. They may also include parkrun and other races/best times according to the selection chosen by the club committee.
Our Championship is a friendly competition and is split four ways. We have the ‘Open’ (to all comers), Female, Masters Open and Masters Female. The Masters Championships are open to members over 40 years of age and calculated using the WMA factoring available at the start of the calendar year. It is possible for a members 40+ to win two Championships (well they would deserve it if they did!), but under 40s are only eligible for the non-Masters. This is instep with UKA competitions.
