Welcome to Chippenham Harriers

We are a friendly running club based in north Wiltshire. We have over 300 members and provide opportunities for runners of all levels to train, race and compete. Keeping the best interests of members at the forefront of our training sessions and events, we encourage club spirit, personal development and a shared love for running.

Normal Club sessions are coming back online with Physical Prep, Effort Sessions and LiRF Lead Town runs with Covid Safe Systems and advice from England Athletics

How to Join us...

Our next Beginners Course Starts 6.15pm on Friday the 24th September for 9 Weeks finishing on a Park Run. All you need on arrival is £5 and the Registration Form below for all 9 Weeks!

Chippenham Harriers Physical Prep is back, and returning to normal format.
On Monday 13th September we will return to meeting in the Dome following our pre-COVID structure.
However, we will now be meeting 18:30-19:30.

Cost will continue to be £1 for members and £2 non-members.

There is no need to pre-register, but as before we will ask you to sign in. Please bring exact change if possible.

If you have not done physical prep before then these are sessions led by a qualified coach.

Athletes will do a session involving a series of exercises designed with a focus on strength and conditioning, as well as ability, balance and coordination for running.

Sessions are open to non-members are while designed for running will help with overall fitness or preparation for other sports.

The kind of exercises we do are squats, lunges, skipping, drills, hurdle work and more.

The sessions are suitable for all abilities and coaches can advise on how to make sessions easier of harder. Athletes will get out as much as they put in.
