Safety

We consider safety to be paramount and to back this up we insist that all participants, including athletes, coaches and helpers always wear a high visibility vest when running out on the streets. The vests are designed to stretch fit over the athletes main running attire, they are available from specialised sports outlets such as Sportzform.

Also we issue each athlete with an ID tag which we ask you to secure firmly to the high visibility vest, if you've not recieved one of these please let one of us know.

The Club is committed to duty of care and a Child Protection Policy is in place and maintained by our Health & Safety officer. A first aider trained to the St Johns standard will be in attendance at each session.

In addition to qualified coaches we also employ volunteer helpers all of whom have undergone a check by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
